  1. Is good  ★★★

I like this app, the landscape view is great, and the recognition software is quick to learn. The only thing missing, for me, is that i cannot see that it is possible to turn off the recognition software. Sometimes I just want a hand written note or drawing. Of course, there are apps out there for that, but it would be good to have the option in the one app. (translate)

  2. Great app  ★★★★★

Excellent app, really like it, especially the ability to actually copy the notew back to your PC to back them up, and also the copy and paste features within notes! Also really like the new feature of the document view just for viewing. The emailling of notes seems to not quite get the whole note, but other than that, the best note app I've come accross. Nice work! (translate)

  3. Great App  ★★★★

This app is great for taking notes, especially when walking because you dont have to try and walk and type on a small keyboard at the same time. It also has a portrait and landscape keyboard, so you can chose what to use as the situation warrents. The Handwriting recognitiom works very well as does the gestures and spell check. All it really needs is to be a little faster going between menues and the ability to organise notes manually instead of one of the presets like name and so on. Also an export/import method to a generic text file instead of just .csv (translate)

  1. Razoável  ★★★

A app tem uma interface bonita e o legal é que permite escrever direto na tela do iphone (se vc tiver paciência), pois os caracteres às vezes não são identificados. Para melhorar, sugiro um ícone mais bonito e mais recursos... (translate)

  1. spell check?  ★★★★

Does the typing part of this app have some kind of a spell check or alternative words list? If I could find it, or if it had one I would give it 5 stars. Other than that its an amazing app and the handwriting recognition is awesome. Very neat, gets the job done. (translate)

  2. Some great fetures  ★★★★

Handwring recognition is very good but takes practice to use efficiently. Love the learning system for customisng dictionary. Reminds me of Textplus for Palm - with a bit of work you can customize it to your own vocabulary. Abilty to import and export notes via wireless is great and you don't need Outlook either. Only thing missing for me is the ability to create folders. Categories are fine but the view of your notes is still flat - which becomes.umwieldy if you have a lot of notes. (translate)

  3. Love it!  ★★★★★

This is one of my favorite apps. It takes a little while to get the hang of it, but once you do you will wish that all other apps (including this one I'm using right now) had handwriting recognition. (translate)

  1. Great text input app  ★★★★★

I'm looking for a powerful note taking app and this one is great! It's very stable and can resume to editing even after phone call and pressing home button. It supports cut & paste and recognize e-mail, phone no & web site. So i can now use it to jot down phone no even when i am on the phone. (translate)

  1. An amazing accoplishment  ★★★★★

This is a real review. I am not connected to the creator of this program in any way. The ability of this program to correctly read any combination of cursive handwriting, hand-lettering & text from the virtual keyboard & turn it into digital text is amazing. Text thus created can also be selected, copied, pasted. Files can be created & saved, etc. Apple should buy or license this technology & make it an integral part of the iPhone. It was a pain to have to go back to the virtual keyboard to write this review. (translate)

  1. You Write It_iPhone Types It !  ★★★★★

This is a superb app. It allows you to write with your fingertip on screen and turns it into a text document. If you do not rush the results are good and mistakes can easily be rectified. It has a mode for dictionary words only with a user customisable dictionary which greatly reduces the likelihood of error and it can be set up to show alternatives. There is a typing mode which gives predicted alternatives as you type making it much quicker and less frustrating than the iPhone's standard method. Documents can be colour coded & can also be emailed direct from the app. This app has greatly improved my productivity and l am just hoping an iPad version will become available as I find writing on screen with my fingertip very easy and natural. Highly recommended. -- This message was composed with PhatWare WritePad. (translate)

  2. Waste of money and time  ★

It is just waste of money.Does not copy and paste between the browser or any iphone application.Does not synchronize with itune notes.and is not searchable in quick finder.better if I had given this money in charity.I am quite happy with iphone notepad's ugly fonts.this message is a warning to those who are going to buy to achieve the above. 3. my finger is my pen  ★★★★

The recognition engine makes writing more enjoyable than typing. With the addition of the landscape keyboard for a secondary method of entry, WritePad is superior to other apps that only have one method of entry. Although there is more editing involved as, punctuation can be an issue if not written beforehand. I find myself editing afterwards like adding periods or changing case. Limited search seems like cripple ware as there is no full text search of your notes. They lost a star, here. WritePad relies on a desktop program to transfer notes; no Webdav. I was initially disappointed that another program was needed for export , but glad that the devs suggested freeware in the Help section. There's some hidden feature to rendering links for email and http urls.Basic arithmetic is handy; I tested all 4 operators and it worked. The app occasionally crashes when I try to write a vertical stroke near the upper left corner and all previous written data is lost. I make sure I press the ''Notes"" button after a long entry session to insure I don't lose data. I would like to see a date stamp insertion feature along with some scroll bars for long notes. All in all, WritePad breaks new ground for text entry as a viable usable non-demo app, I enjoy using and for that they earn a favorable review. This review was composed and edited by fingers with WritePad and posted from the exported csv file. (translate)

  5. Search Feature Lacking?  ★★

As far as I can tell this application only searches the note titles. I could not get it to find text within a note. That makes this app very basic in my opinion. I hope I missed something and I can do this. Please correct me if I am wrong. (translate)

  6. New version much improved, but...  ★★★

I use this app every day to write notes, and it works pretty well. The previous version would crash and lose your note if you didn't save often -- by returning to the notes screen. That seems fixed. The handwriting recognition works generally well, although it is often unhappy with word fragments and gives unexpected results. Also, it doesn't seem to know that "I" and "a" are words on their own, failing to add a space after you enter them unless you have another word right behind it.I have it set for the quickest recognition speed, but I still have to wait for a pause after every screen I write, so I would like it faster.Overall, if you like to write instead of type on the little keyboard, I recommend this app. (translate)

  7. Write Pad Notes  ★★★★★

This is one of my favorite apps! I use it all the time. I moved it to my front screen. It’s quick and easy. You can sort your notes by color. It has spell check. Best money spent by far! (translate)

  8. Horrible Product and Horrible Company  ★

Horrible Horrible application and company. Never lived up to the promise introduced with WritePad. I was one of the first to pay to buy the WritePad Notes app and it's nothing but a mulipage version of WritePad. Furthermore, I emailed the company asking a quesiton and recieved a rude reply instructing me to read the help and tutorial files. In the months before, and since, I've done nothing but read those file and still have not found a reference that addresses my question.Don't walk - run away from this app and this company! 9. Like this app  ★★★★

I've been using this app for a while now and find it suits my needs very well. Plain and simple- It allows me to enter text quickly and keep it organized. Adjusting the settings to suit my writing style helped quite a bit in the speed and accuracy of the recognition. When the software does come up with something different than what I wrote, making the correction is still faster than my typing. (translate)

  10. So far so good.  ★★★★

I've been a customer of their other products which have been top notch. Only had this for a few days and there is a learning curve to writing w/ your finger and no pen/stylus. This aside, the recognition is very good, the correction backstroke is better than average as I always struggle w/ this gester in my Tablet or other handheld devices that I've had in the past w/ similar recognition software. The shorthand gestures in the tutorial are common sense and easy to use. I've been looking for something to finally do this as this has been the plus to Palm and Pocket PC products that the Iphone had yet to tap into. The grid selection is somewhat useless. I would like to see this ammended to be able to chose spacing and have text fit inbetween the lines, notebook style. (translate)
