The best of the cooking apps that I have used (and there are some really good ones). Sensible volume of recipes, practical features, such as timer/planner, and well structured cooking instructions.Perhaps time now for the Spring/Summer update please. First class, and top of the class. (translate)

Made most of main courses and they all turned out brilliantly,and were all delicious. I have used the app 3 or 4 times a week for past few months, the shopping list is also very useful. Would like to see regular updates with more recipes added (which is why ive given four stars rather than 5), but as it stands there are a lot of tasty recipes. (translate)

I haven't yet had chance to cook any of the recipes from the app, but I've had a good luck at the recipes and can't wait to try some. I love the timer function too, think that will be really useful for knowing what to start when. I wanted to post a review so early on to show appreciation for including the option to select just gluten free meals (along with other special diets and allergies). As a recently diagnosed coeliac, this is really useful for me, it's great to be able to easily find gluten free recipes. Looking forward to more recipe updates :) (translate)

Twice the number of recipes and a fraction of the size of Jamie Oliver's app. For me, Dishy is the better app. So far we've cooked the Myanmar Curry, Cottage Pie (substituting Quorn mince and veggie stock), Sauted Leeks and Apple Crumble. All turned out great and were very easy to cook with the step-by-step instructions, in-place countdown timers and overall timings function. More recipes and features will surely take this app from strength to strength. Already the developer has added features users like myself have requested. Congratulations on a job very well done. If you're like me and can't cook to save your life then this app will turn you into a top chef overnight! My personal faviurites are the chilli con carne & apple crumble but I'm still working my way through the list. The shopping list and timings section are extremely useful. The instructions are straightforward and I've received speedy responses to any queries I've had. In my opinion this is a must have app that deserves more than 5 stars. (translate)

On the surface this looked good but when you look at the cooking instructions it is SO poor! Take receipe for roast duck with plum sauce. It just says put sauce ingredients into pan and bring to boil.. But ingredients include 1 lime (so - whole? The juice? The zest?) see what I mean! Most receipes are like this. Lack of detail, even basics so unless you are a competent cook don't get this! (translate)

Great App. The recipes work. It helps you choose what to cook with good photos and neat graphics.It provides a shopping list, shows the timings and tells you how to cook a step at a time. You end up with real food- restaurant quality. Have tried quite a few already and all great so far. (translate)

This is a genius app. Tried the Prawn Curry recipie and couldn't belive it was my own food that tasted so good. all without the need for any long winded phone bloating videos.As for the idividual timers allowing me to multi task, nothing short of brilliant. Truly excellent meal planning app. Love the instantly created shopping list (even organised by supermarket aisles!) and the recipes work too. Cooked the mushroom risotto this evening for my three ultra-critical daughters and got three thumbs up. Can't say better than that. Yes a broader range of recipes would be good - especially veggie - but otherwise can't fault this. Cooking and especially shopping used to bore me rigid - now thanks to Dishy they're looking pretty cool! (translate)

The recipes are well laid out and easy to follow. The one complaint I have is that if you choose a dish that has several recommended complementary dishes, I couldn't see a way to add all of them to the meal. Once you look at one to add it to your meal, the list disappears. (translate)

An amazing app, the downloadable recipes will be a great feature as the only thing missing is more recipes and would like to see a section on sauces too. Maybe as a suggestion an alternative ingredient if you don't have what is meant for the dish. But to be honest it doesn't really matter as long as the downloadable recipes is going ahead as all this perfect app needs is more recipes whether simple ones or not, Then no more cookbooks will ever be needed again. This app is amazing, really easy to use. Just tried this app and it works very well. It's been really well thought out and does almost everything I can think of in a app like this apart from have many recipes! I knew what I was buying, so have given 4 stars because it is just like the description. But although it has around 40 main meal recipes, being vegetarian I get only 6! And 2 of them are pasta and 1 is a salad. Will cook a meal with this for a novelty, but to be useful there needs to be many more recipes. Perhaps a website to contribute, or keep the low app pruce and sell recipe packs inside the app for a couple of quid a time. App great, formatting is great, choice for me poor (translate)

A perfect App for men who like to follow recipes. This really is very well put together and is a pleasure to use. The timing feature, to help you deliver all the food at the same, is genius. Just used this app to plan, shop for and cook a 3 course meal for my wife. This app made the whole process so easy. I absolutely love the shopping list feature which is updated when you add items to your meal menu and you tick them off the list as you buy them. The built in timers within the instructions is a brilliant idea and a very useful feature. Love it! Looking forward to more dishes in future updates though I have lots to get through!! (translate)

I like this, but I think a significantly larger choice of recipes would be welcome, especially vegetarian. Incidentally the Waldorf salad, listed as Vegan, contains Mayonaise and so has eggs in it, so it can't be Vegan, it's vegetarian. A few spelling corrections are needed. ( white whine for example) I wanted to make a simple French Onion soup but had to look on the Internet because I couldn't find it under French recipes ? Overall a good application though. Rare to find an app that truly makes life easier, and isn't just a gimick. Massively helpful in making sure everything gets to the table hot and all at the same time - not the usual limp veg and hard potatoes! Well designed, easy to use, it even has a nice simple icon...only problem is that I still have to cook the food! Will be looking out for more recipes...and an EOSG website (translate)

I've looked for a decent cooking app before with something like this in mind, but the ones I bought were useless. This gets it absolutely right! The automatically generated shopping lists that you can tick off as you pick things up, and the automatic timers with the instructions make it really easy to cook something you have never tried before. Decent choice of meals as well. Best app I have bought in ages (and so so much better that any other cooking app out there) (translate)
