A really good idea for an app, attractively designed. Needs graphical update for iPhone 4. I'd really, really like it if it could download not only my facebook posts on my own wall but my facebook posts on other walls and other people's on my own. For that matter, also download all the likes and comments on those posts. And maybe a link between other Facebook users and contacts, so it automatically tags the facebook copies properly. Also any photos I upload or I'm tagged in. Seems like a lot to ask, but if the point of the facebook sync is to keep mementos of facebook activity then it needs to be comprehensive. For the basic journalling part of it, though, it's really very good. I second a nicely formatted PDF export option, as well, text doesn't cut it. Maybe some sort of desktop tool, so Momento exports a library file and the desktop tool converts it into pretty things. That would make this app actually brilliant rather than merely quite good. This app started off well but the developer seems more intent on turning it into a social networking/micro-blogging program, rather than a serious journal or diary. Even sadder is the fact that they don't appear to be doing any serious work on an iPad version. The iPhone is OK if you aren't going to write much, but the iPad is much better for longer entries. Having it sync data between both versions would be the icing on the cake. In the meanwhile, if you are serious about journalling and own an iPad, don't hold your breath. If you are looking for a good journalling app for the iPad try Chronicles for iPad, or Daily Notes. If ever they release an iPad version of Momento I might consider taking it up again, but they will have to be quick. (translate)

Great design etc, use everyday. Number 1 need for me is reliable export option. I don't want to keep my life in this app if I can't export with pics etc. Has text file export, but a rich graphic PDF with pics and app formatting would be stellar! Also sorely needs iOS update for persistent state, jumping in and out of this app requires app to start up each time. Can be a pain now most other apps hold your place. Looking forward to an update soon (like everyone else it seems!) Recommend purchase, just hope for promised new features soon. (translate)

Suggest everyone that has purchased this demand a refund. Get your act together Momento. wef 11th June 2010. Developers you are a disgrace. It is totally unacceptable waiting this long for an update. Landscaping is not that hard, trust me. You are more than happy to accept the cash we all spent in purchasing this app, but have given zilch back in return. Take a look at your work ethics... You need to change them, and fast. w.e.f. 29th March 2010 I have had to change my rating to 1. WHY: Well, I love how Developers are quick to take your money (you charge a reasonable price for this), then in return fail to deliver customers requirements. It is nearly April, what has been going on for the last 3 months. Really disappointed with the lack of interest you as Developers are showing in giving us some of the things we want. A big fail. Great app, and I agree with all the other comments regarding future requirements, especially landscape mode. I have one more request:- I would like to see this app link to the calendar, and ideally include the alarm/reminder features as well. To add Public Holidays would also be a bonus. Prior to discovering this app, I used the calendar to record heaps of things from thoughts, birthdays, and often used the notes section because I could not find an app (prior to discovering this) that would cater for all my needs. I don't know why the dev is working on a major update that seems to take months (literally) to produce while continuously ignoring some essential feature requests. For example, landscape support wouldn't take an arm and a leg to produce, and a backup (or at least, a readable EXPORT function) feature is sorely needed for an app that aggregates so *much* information. I bet a lot of people that had experienced a crash and lost their Momento data would not come back to the app. That's what happened to me, and since my last iTunes backup was a month ago, I lost a month's worth of notes. While I understand the value and marketing behind releasing 'awesome' updates and 'keeping things under wraps', the most requested features should have been rolled out long ago. Not acceptable! I love it, the way it looks and how it works. Just two suggestions for an update: the keyboard rotates so it's a little easier to type and that things stay deleted. I don't need to remember stupid tweets forever yet when momento is opened again after I've deleted them they reload. Hope these issues can be remedied as it is a great app. (translate)

The App looks good and works well except for the lack of a usable export option! The point of writing a memento is to be able to review it later etc however without a good export option this app is of little use except for reviewing on the iphone. On a positive note the Facebook and Twitter capture feeds function works well and compiles all entries into one place. But still if you want to export all of these later you just cant ?? Once they fix this I would rate this app 10/10 until then its a 1/10 sorry. (translate)

And I find it much better than a normal journal as you can post your thoughts privately throughout the day which I am happy to do instead of trying to summarise everything and writing a journal entry on my day. So if you're thinking of purchasing this app, don't even think just buy! I love this app! One request that would totally earn 5 stars and a lot more word of mouth from me, is if we had the option to load multiple accounts from our social networking feeds. I know plenty of people, me included, who have more than one twitter account for instance. I realise that it's less common for FB, flickr & last.fm but the option would really be great. And here's a free tip: I have not yet found a diary/journal/organiser app whereby one can import/ intergrate 'Voice Memos' from the native 3GS app. Or videos for that matter. Someone ought to do it, and soon... ;) With those suggestions in mind, this would be the ultimate personal diary app IMHO. (translate)

First of all, i have to say this is a great app: integrated, automatic, simple and has an incredible interface. Burt it's important to state some things that certainly would make it perfect for me today: -ability to post "music moments", like some twitter apps, posting the name of the song currently playing, along with it's cover. Music represents much more than 100.000 words! In fact, any interaction with the songs i've played would be very attractive. - integration with Google Buzz. Why not? - integration with twitpic and other sites that would let me include photos that I had already posted on Twitter. I like it very much, though I don't use it as often as I could. (translate)

I have had this app for about a day now. I am really enjoying it. I like how it links up to my facebook and flickr accounts. So far, I do have one complaint: when you are adding a journal/momento entry, there is no way to change the keyboard to landscape typing for a larger keyboard. I've tried several other Journaling/ Diary apps before finding this one. Ease of use with simple interface encourages the daily habit of journaling for me. The visuals are elegant and I like the idea of being able to include photos everyday if I want. The tag feature allows you to simply and quickly find moments in your journal when you need to. Would give this five stars but would like the ability to sync this with photos to my Mac beyond a xlm file. Perhaps a companion application on the Mac??! (translate)

An easy five star rating is coming as soon as landscape format, full search, ability to send out to social networking sites not just port in from same. Tie in Todo function and it might get six out of five stars. For those who think you can't back up entries - wrong. Goto Settings and simply send a file to you own email. A true/live sync would be dreamy but even now you can backup entries. I wasted twice the money on iDiary. I've asked Apple for a refund on that nonsense - we'll see. UPDATE: iTunes refunded my money on iDiary - good on them for that. UPDATE: discovered you CAN CHANGE TIME of a new or previous entry by holding down on the time display. This brings up the time setting function. Set or reset your time and Save. Great for making "back entries." So, buy this one! (translate)

I like the app a lot and how it connects to social web services. However, one thing that I don't like is tagging places. Although it allows you to manually tag places by entering the location or it will automatically search your current location, it shows only the address of the places you tagged. Other than the addresses, I think it would be nice if the app would allow us to geotagging the places and display in a map within the diary. Would definitely give 5-stars for that. (translate)

Excelente aplicación con la cual puedes escribir un verdadero diario de vida, en la cual puedes agregar notas y fotos, que a la vez puedes fusionar con los tweets que hayas hecho en Twitter y con tus estados de Facebook. Podrás también sincronizar las fotos que hayas subido a Flickr, las cuales quedaran guardadas exactamente en los dias que las subiste. De esta manera tendrás todos tus pensamientos y fotos recopilados en una sola app, agrupados por fecha. Lo malo es que no se pueden escribir/visualizar notas en modo apaisado. Rigtig god app, hvis man lige mangler en journal / logbog / dagbog, og man ikke vil have en i papirsform.. Ich habe, weiss Gott wie oft, schon den / die Entwickler angeschrieben. Immerhin antwortete er jedesmal, wenn auch immer nur dasselbe: Das Update käme noch und sinngemäss würde es ein wahnsinniges Update werden. Eine Menge Features und und und... Ich habe die App nur noch installiert, damit ich mitbekomme, falls ein Update erscheinen sollte... Woran ich persönlich aber nicht mehr glaube! Es gleicht einer Farce! Seit Monaten wird da etwas versprochen und wir als "Kunden" warten und warten... Wenn man so will, werden die Kunden rigoros hingehalten. Ich finde es nur lächerlich und gleichzeitig schade, denn diese App hatte beinahe Potenzial. Nur dieses Potenzial wurde überhaupt nicht genutzt, geschweige denn weiter entwickelt. Was nützt die grafisch tollste Tagebuch-App, wenn das Notwendige fehlt, was eigentlich schon seit der ersten Version hätte drin sein müssen. Was nützt mir, wenn ich jeden einzelnen Tweet oder Facebook-Status in diese App einspeisen kann, aber meine eigentlichen Einträge noch nicht mal exportieren, geschweige denn sichern kann? Einfach nur mehr als schwach. Mit Verlaub: Da erscheinen selbst mehr Updates von einer grossen und namhaften Game-Schmiede - und von denen erscheinen reichlich wenige Updates! Ist also wirklich ne Kunst, dass zu schaffen! Für mich steht fest: Ich nutze Momento seit Monaten nicht mehr! Ich persönlich will meine vielen Einträge sicher wissen und das war bei Momento nicht der Fall! Schade drum! (translate)

04.08.2010 ... schon fast ne monatliche Tradition, hier das fehlende Update zu beklagen. Ich verstehe die Programmierer nicht. Auf der Website gibts auch nen aktiven Supporter... also arbeitet da wohl noch jemand (oder ist das nur ein einsamer Nerd?). Trotzdem nix. Jetzt wird auf der Website schon seit Wochen ein Hotfix versprochen (von neuen Features gar nicht zu reden) was schon seit 5 Wochen bei Apple hängen soll. Bei anderen gehts schneller... Mal sehen... meld mich nächsten Monat wieder (sind diese Rezensionen so ne Art Tagebuch?!?) 05.07.2010 ... und wieder ein Monat rum ... 05.06.2010: Neulich mal bei den Entwicklern nachgefragt... Natürlich käme das Update noch.... Wers glaubt.... Ich schreib inzwischen gar nichts mehr rein.... Übrigens programmiere ich selbst und weiss, was man in einer solchen Ewigkeit hätte fertigbringen können. 03.05.2010: Seit mehr als 4 Monaten kann man auf der Website nachlesen, dass an einem Update mit tollen Features und besserem Export gearbeitet wird... Vor 13 Tagen wieder der Hinweis auf die Verbesserungen, über die man noch nicht reden könne... der Veröffentlichungstermin werde noch bekannt gegeben.... First, what I do like: - a clean, well-designed interface - optional tags, events, persons and locations - importing social feeds What I DEFINITELY don't like: - Multi-lingual options are non-existing - Missing export to ... whatever: Web, Google Docs, Desktop - I don't care, just integrate it. XML-export is ridiculous. There's no decent way to export rich data (tags, photos etc.) as a text-based markup file. :-(( - Missing social feeds. I keep hearing about: "We're working on this issue" Fact is, I cannot import any facebook feeds that contain links, media or such. Again, this is just as ridiculous. Remember the idea behind social networks? - You can share things you find on the web as well as photos and videos with your friends. So, where's the sense behing importing social feeds to momento, if you cannot include any media an even cannot link to media on the web. - No recognition of links in text. None. Every dumb app recognizes URLs and hands them over to either the OS or a built-in webkit for processing. Why can't momento do this? - No sharing. A diary is a secret thing, always, right? No, definitely not. That's the same thing as above - where's the point in using social media, if you can't share (SELECT) moments with your friends..? So,we keep reading about the Big Update coming soon. SOON?????? Not really. This starts to look like just another case of vaporware. I would've switched to momo long ago if it weren't for its missing tagging abilities, missing import of social feeds and a generally uglier interface... Eigentlich eine wunderbare App, aber seit ewigen Zeiten gibt's kein Update. Insbesondere vermisse ich eine vernünftige Exportfunktion (PDF oder Text, inklusive Bildern natürlich). Lange versprochen, nie geliefert. Ich mag nicht dran denken, was wäre, wenn. Das iTunes Backup ist für eine vernünftige Backup- oder Sync-Funktion kein Ersatz. Eigentlich gute Basis aber ohne Updates ziemlich wertlos. Die Entwickler jedenfalls reagieren Null auf die zahlreichen Anfragen. (U.a. wäre eine einfache Blätterfunktion zw den Tagen gut.) Was aber wirklich Sorgen bereitet ist der fehlende Import. Im Sommer kommts neue iPhone und wie bringt man dann die Einträge wieder ins App? Bis das nicht gelöst ist, schreib ich doch nicht tonnenweise Einträge.. Hilft auch dass es einen Export gibt, wohin soll ich danach mit dem XML bei dem sogar alle Medien fehlen? Deshalb von vormals 4 Sterne auf 1 Stern Update: kein einziges Update in 3 Monaten trotz zahlreicher Mängel und Anfragen. Service=0 Sterne Update nochmal 3 Monate später: Mittlerweile musste ich das iPhone einmal wiederherstellen. Die exportierten Momento Einträge lassen sich nachwievor nicht zurück importieren. Würde gerne die Möglichkeit haben die Einträge (auch mit Foto) in einer Desktopanwendung öffnen und ausdrucken zu können, ohne Steuercode - oder mach ich was falsch. Super Tagebuchprogramm, sehr schönes Design und gut durchdacht. Schön wäre noch eine Backup Funktion mit Bildern am besten gleich mit iTunes Sync. Das Interface ist wirklich ausgesprochen schön gestaltet! Durch die Funktion Facebook, Flickr, Twitter und Last.fm zu integrieren ist die App meines Wisens die einzige ihrer Art und hat viel Potential für zukünftige Weiterentwicklung. Für den aktuellen Funktionsumfang ist der Preis relativ hoch aber ich sehs mal als Investition in zukünftige Features :) Was ich mir wünschen würde: Orte nicht als Text erfassen, sondern als Koordinaten sowie Integration mit Google Maps (wann ist wo welcher Eintrag entstanden) sowie die Exportmöglichkeit von Bildern. Der aktuelle XML Export ist zwar schon umfangreich aber die Bilder fehlen und müssen nach dem Export manuell zugeordnet werden. Als Feature wäre vielleicht noch die integration von eigenen Blogs interessant bzw. eine Wordpress integration. Aber das steht ganz unten auf der Wunschliste. Update: mittlerweile hatte ich öfters die situation dass ich Orte zum jeweiligen Eintrag hinzufügen wollte und das Prinzip Orte nach Namen und nicht nach Koordinaten zu speichern ist echt nicht praktikabel... Udate 2: seit der ersten Rezension ist gut Zeit verstrichen und einige Anregungen und Verbesserungsvorschläge der Community wurden gepostet. Leider gabs seit Monaten kein update und die Hoffnungen in das zukunftspotential waren möglicherweise umsonst. Schade. :( (translate)

Schön gestaltetes Tagebuch, das noch mehr kann: Durch den Tag "people" sieht man z. B. schnell, mit welchen Menschen man sich eigentlich so umgibt oder wann man jemanden das letzte Mal gesehen hat. Ich mag es auch, den Tag mit Sternen zu "bewerten". So kann ich mir z. B. nur meine Super-Tage anzeigen lassen - ein super Mittel gegen Winterblues! Buen diseño, permite imprescindible clave aunque pobre de 4 dígitos, está en inglés, ideal para notas breves diarias, para "llevar un Diario" me parece demencial (eso se lleva en Word no quedándose cegato), su interconexión con Facebook y similares no la utilizo y no sé qué sentido tiene, le faltan varios hervores, seguro que mejora, la base es buena. Comparar con otras antes de adquirirla, hay una que permite claves muy seguras y está traducida. (translate)

Está bien, muy útil si se busca una aplicación de diario con la posibilidad de añadirle foos, tags, etc. Lenta en mi 3G, a veces demasiado al editar texto o leer entradas anteriores desde el calendario. Se echa mucho en falta la posibilidad de escribir en apaisado para una aplicación precisamente pensada para escribir, como ya se ha dicho antes. Y faltan opciones para poder exportar-copia de seguridad.. Así que la recomiendo, pero no es ni mucho menos perfecta! (translate)

Me encanta la centralización de twitter, Facebook y entradas privadas. Eso de navegar por fecha por tus twitts es genial, qué decía yo el 25/12 del 2007? Aunque la funcionalidad princial, el diario, es más que suficiente para comprar esta app. Por su diseño, la facilidad de uso, poder exportar, importar de distintas redes sociales, ... Really a nice app, I love it!!! It would be great if you could make clickable (and browseable) the links included in Twitter/Facebook status, many users include external links or photos on their statuses. Another cool feature could be an automatic photo import from the iPhone camera roll, so that photos taken with the built-in camera app are automatically inserted in Momento taking their creation date/time. 瞬間日記を使っていましたが、すこし不満な点もありこちらを購入してみました。 なかなかすばらしいです。 惚れました。 使い勝手もよく、細かいところまでこだわりを感じられ、作者のセンスの良さを感じます。 しかし、残念ながら日本語環境では少し使いづらいところがあります。 1.Tag peopleで姓名が逆になってしまう。 （姓名の順になる設定が欲しい） 2.Tagが文字入力後のリストマッチとなっているため日本語だと結局毎回入力に何ステップも強いられるため面倒くさい。 （入力時に全リスト表示できるようなUIが欲しい） 対応してもらえるとうれしいです。 (translate)

しばらく使ってみて、さらに良さが際立ってきました。 UIが実によく、使いやすく美しいアプリです。 Twitter機能へのコメントが多いですが、 普通の日記アプリとしても秀逸だと思います。 ノートにメモを貼り付けていくように、その日付のページの中に 新しい書き込みを時系列順に増やしていくことが出来ます。 一日の始まり時間が設定できるのも便利。 それぞれの書き込み（Momento）をタグで管理できるので、 思いついたことをどんどん追加していって アイデア帳のような使い方も出来そうです。 TwitterやFlickrなどいろいろなサービスから情報を取り込んで なにかしら書き込まれていくので、 書き忘れて放置日記となることもなくなりそう。 読み込んだTweetを削除することも出来るので、 これはここに残しておかなくても…というものは消せるのもいい。 ■日付のページにも新規書き込みのボタンが欲しい ■フリックでページ送りできるといい ■テキスト内のURLに自動リンクが効かないのが残念。アプリ内ブラウザの実装を要望。 ■Twitpicにはぜひとも対応してほしい。 ■できれば自分のブログのRSSフィード（WordPress）も取得できるといいな！ ■タグ入力の時に、今まで作ったタグもしくは 最近使ったタグが一覧表示されると選びやすくて素敵。 (translate)

Momento is a good private diary/journal tool, but it would be great if it has the option to search for the previous posts. Ability to keep photo attach to the post even it is deleted from Photo Album as well would be sweet. The export function still need more work. Simple, easy to use.. Love this app! Just what I have been looking for. The only thing I dislike is that you have to be online to view your flickr pictures in your journal. You still get to view your facebook and Twitter status updates offline, but not flickr posts. A big "x" shows up in your flickr posts if you're offline. I love that you can add up to 8 photos per entry, but I'd rate it 5 stars if they add a feature where you can add captions to each photo. Писать удобно. На первый взгляд кажется, что это лучшая программа для заметок. Но жутко не хватает landscape режима и синхронизации заметок с аутлуком или вэб сервисом типа Гугл докс. При последней перепрошивке все мои заметки тупо прое6ались. После этого удалил программу, и больше не хочу ей пользоваться. Сегодня нашел программу Momo Note. В ней есть все, что не хватает в этой (горизонтальный режим и синхронизация), у нее отличный интерфейс, но почему то она не так популярна. Рекомендую попробовать. (translate)

Безумно доволен приобретенной программой! Так как много работы, то нужны и календари и ТуДу и удобные заметки. Первое, что я купил пару месяцев назад - это Awesome Note, считаю ее идеальной программой для ведения непланированных заметок и подобных "записок сумашедшего". Второй программой стоит 2Do, там ИМХО идеально реализовано планирование, с плавающей датой завершения дела, но не хватало календарного вида и точного планирования по датам с тем же календарным просмотром и хорошим дизайном. Программа Momento полностью удовлетворила мои потребности по последним требованиям и теперь эти три программы полностью решают все мои проблемы с планированиями, записями, напоминаниями етц Хочу заметить, что для меня все эти программы никак не конкурируют друг с другом, а дополняют друг друга. Несомненно советую преобрести данную программу. Как датированный ежедневник, она великолепна. P.S. Хоть и английский для меня не проблема, хотелось бы поддержки нашего, Великого и Могучего языка. Since I got my Iphone I always wanted a simple application where I can store my thoughts and jot down my feelings and ideas. Momento does that perfectly. It also integrates with Twitter (that I use a lot) so that I can see my tweets in my lifestream. I love the camera integration as well, it's great to see words and images integrating each other. The interface is superslick, one of the best user interface design I have ever seen on the iphone. Momento quickly got its space in my iPhone initial screen. (translate)

The Days segment is suddenly blank and displaying the same messages on a blank woodgrain background just like when I first bought it. This came from after 2-3 months usage. I can still access my entries from the Months segment. Also, despite setting it to sync with FB, it isn't syncing right now. It only syncs with Twitter and manually keyed in entries. What should I do??? :((( (update: itz been a month or so since I reported this issue, which many others face too, but still no patch/update to rectify this prob.) Lovely application which I use constantly since purchasing, more so than anyother application (apart from Evernote). The Interface is very neat and easy to usee, though the inabiltiy to use in landscape makes it a little awkward at times. The intergration between the other applics is a nice feature which makes it unique among anyother diary application out there. There are a couple of things / features that I think would improve this even more 1) Landscape mode: If, like me, you have fairly large fingers it would be easier to use landscape rather than portrait. 2) Restore from backup: Its nice that there is a backup option on the application but I can't see the point if once you've backed up the data yuo can't even restore it. Or am I misssing something 3) Export to other formats: the .plist format isn't one I've seen before so would like to be able to export to another application - Evernote would be nice but failing that just as rich text format or even html would be nice. As a keen diarist I like to record entries when away from my desktop Mac. For the last 18 months I've been using MyDiary but Momento's ability to add photos was a real clincher and made me swap without hesitation. Tagging and the ability to see my FaceBook feeds are nice touches and the interface is gorgeous. There's are a couple of things lacking however: - No landscape editing mode - Swiping to navigate through days without having to switch back to the calendar would be really useful - Exporting is very poor. The ability to export to RTF or Pages would formats be incredibly useful - Importing from a SQL file (as exported to from MyDiay) I do hope some or all of these issues can be addressed, then it would be perfect and get the full five stars (translate)

Very good app - I've tried many times to keep a journal but always give up because I don't have time to write. This app makes it so easy because you can write whenever and wherever you like. Some good enhancements would be: - ability to modify tagged place names rather than deleting and re-tagging them on every note - ability to select a non-current location on the map to tag. (Selecting a current location is very handy because it fills in all the town, country, etc details for you) - ability to view tagged places on a map - automatic updating of people's names in tags when you change their names in your phone's contact list - ability to tag facebook friends as well as phone contacts - importing of comments attached to facebook status updates Still, a very handy little app. (translate)

Tried quite a few diary/journal apps, but this is by far the most intuitive. Particularly nice is the ability to associate people, places and tags to entries. The only additional feature that I would like is a map view showing pins for each entry geotagged. Then the app would be perfect :-) Keep up the good work!!! (translate)

A lovely diary application, rich in multimedia options and with terrific design/ appearance. Always been stable in use and a pleasure to maintain. However, it is massively let down by the limited export options. I want to be able to save my diary entries to review in years to come, not just during the lifespan of my iphone contract. Exporting a text file might give the raw data of my entries but it doesn't give the context and weave that this great application provides. For that reason, I won't be investing any more time recording entries in this until there's a desktop version or, preferably, an option to export as a .pdf or Word/ Pages doc. The support pages state "we are working to provide a more comprehensive export solution... so I'll keep an eye out for updates. However that was back in March and I'm already beginning to look for alternatives. (translate)

I don't understand why this app isn't higher in the paid charts! It's elegant, easy to use and great fun! Syncs with things like facebook, Twitter etc. Even from years ago and adds them to your feed, was great to see what I'd written last year! The addition of photos and tags as well as ratings for the day improves this app so much! Making it the most elegant and useful I've seen! I didn't even write a diary before but even now a month or so later I still find myself making 3-5 entries a day! So even if you don't write a diary either I'd still recommend this app! I dont usually keep a diary because I get bored of it after a while. This makes keeping a diary so easy and fun, I'm totally loving the experience. Admittedly I'm stunned you don't support landscape, but am keeping my fingers crossed that you add it in the futre, because I really want to keep this app. The only other thing I'd like changed is the ability to add a chosen song to an entry instead of whatever we favorited for the day. I agree with other reviews that if this app had a proper backup facility (including photos) and ability to type in landscape then it would be worth 5 stars. Otherwise, it is truly a delight to use and has encouraged me to keep a journal for the first time in years. (translate)

All in all this is a good app that needs a bit more development. The features are great, i love the way it interacts with facebook, twitter and last.fm. However it feels a bit unfinished.Immediately after using this app I can see already two things that need to be fixed before I will consider using this seriously:1. Better system for backup, you honestly don't want to invest all your time and effort writing a journal for it to be only available on your iPhone or in .xml file. If something happens to your phone or you simply want to shift your diary to another device it needs to have the ability to do that.2. Further to the above, landscape mode. Please don't make me type any other way. However, good app and hopefully updates will fix these in the future. (translate)

Re-review: For some screwed up reason iTunes decided to remove some apps during sync, this app was among them. So after re-installing the deleted apps I find that all my written moments are gone thanks to the 0 backup feature in this app. What a waste of time & money. Don't expect me to perform a full restore on a 32GB touch simply to regain acess to my moments. -------------------------------------------- Initial review: I've been searching for a scrap-book like app where I can jot some notes down and append photos to it. Momento does the trick. Like others have mentioned, this app needs a proper export/backup feature (including images), into a HTML format for example, so I can enjoy reading my moments from the PC too. Another feature I'd like to see is the ability to add captions to photos. Saving that final star for these updates that I'm sure you guys will come through with :-) (translate)

This is the most important app on my iPhone! I use it has my work journal. Started out with notebooks but after completing one and moving onto another I had enough. Looked at other apps but this was the best one I enjoyed using. Its easy to use and incorporating pictures and searching was a stroke of genius. Great layout and user interface. I would give it a five star rating but thats only if it had a landscape mode - which would make typing so much easier for me and proper backup. What are these people thinking? How could they forget a proper backup method with pictures to the desktop? (translate)

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful apps on my iPhone. It is amazing how just a few words remind you of what you were doing on a particular day. It is easy to use and I love the integration with the social networks. The one thing it really really needs is a computer companion app. It would be wonderful if it looked as good as this (I'd pay) , but some form of backup that goes beyond a plain text XML file, and backs up photos is needed. What I love about this app: *Gathering your private day to day thoughts together with all your online activity into one private app is a great idea. *The UI is gorgeous and well designed, a pleasure to use. What needs to be added/improved: *BACKUP!!!. If I'm to invest my time into this app I want to be able to export all the information contained within it. There is STILL no way to back your data up (apart from within iTunes) *Landscape text input. *The ability to jump to 'today' from within the calendar. (translate)

I love it. It looks great it just works so well. Really simple yet it feels like my own personal little notebook/diary where I can jot my musings and stick pictures next to them. I know this sounds really basic but the way it is done is brilliant! It feels to me like a little scrap book of ideas but with the added benefits of tagging your notes so you can find them later. This is a great diary app, does almost everything in a diary app that you would expect it to do. Just two things i would like to see. 1 flick left and right scrolling between days rather than having to go back to list view and then select another day. 2 backup to your desktop just in case you have to reinstall the app. But besides that this is my favourite diary app on the iPhone. Fantastic little app. Very productive with some thoughtful social media integration. One star short of 5 simply due to lack of landscape mode, weak export facility, and complete lack of import functionality. Also you can't email individual days or months which is a basic feature these days. Integration with SugarSync and Evernote would be a dream come true. (translate)

I was really pleased to find this as it was more than I was looking for or expected! A great app with the bonus of linking into your social media statements too so a full account of your life is available. I'm really enjoying this diary app, it's very organized which I like. Obviously it could be better with landscaping, but it's not hard using a vertical keyboard you just get used to it. I do wish they would add emoticons though!! (translate)

Geez! You have a good app going! I really love the style and format of this! But ur doing great job of ignoring your fans!!! At least give us an update with some of the stuff we want! We passed up free journal apps and paid $3 for yours! At least return the favor by telling us when a new release is coming! 1. Landscape keyboard 2. Backup of journal to MS word document 3. Requests and I'll give 5 stars. 1. Able to backup including photos and restore function. 2. Able to see location tags on google map anytime. 3. Able to change colors of the dots on calendar 4. Themes 5. Day view and week view on calendar like iCal 6. Able to change the background of days view from wooden paneling to slideshow of Mu photos. 7. These guys have been promising updates FOREVER...don't be fooled, they stole your $3.00 and there is no evidence that they will EVER update! I came across the FREE MomentDiary...it's what Momento should be. You'll save 3 bucks and endless frustration waiting 9 months for landscape mode. These guys give app developers a bad name. Hahahahahaha. I just checked back to see if they ever updated this app, and surprise surprise... NOPE. Still claiming that there is a major update coming, several months later. Are the devs also politicians? I am happy I switched to chronicle (on the iPad, not sure if they have an iPhone app). I feel bad for the poor people using this app, waiting in vain for an update to include landscape, iPad version, and other basic necessary features. (translate)

They promise a lot and deliver too little. This app is pretty and had a lot of potential. In January they said they were working on landscape. 8 months later there is still no landscape. If it takes the developers this long to implement a mandatory feature like landscape how long will it take them to offer other improvements with this app? Do not waste money on this app. There are much better developers who actually listen to their customers and follow through with their promises. (
