Does everything i wanted....the 1 thing that made me buy it was the ability 2shift photos back to my camera roll....can you make an app that is exactly the same but for videos,again,i would only buy it if i was given the choice to transfer the video BACK to my camera roll (so video can be edited & added to if i choose) so far NO other video storage app has this feature,once videos are transfered into the app they must stay ther. I love this app. I recently gave up on another one (called photo albums). I like this app for 5 reasons: - bulk load of photos is very easy. Auto naming. Other apps are 1 at a time and too cumbersome with 20+ photos a week (there does appear to be a limit around 70-80 in bulk but wasn't a biggy) - ability to have sub folders - very simple to cut and paste to move folders and multiple photos at one time around - 1 button save back to camera roll - 1 button email (max 5 at one time) To get 5 stars - grid layout - ability to drag and drop in grid formation To improve as annoying - tick to show as in camera roll to confirm you have selected it. Currently lightly shades so easy to miss - option up display as 1 line as in iPhone email app (folder view takes up alot of room) (translate)

The concept's great, but it stores the photos in a seperate location & they must be imported from your normal photo reel anyway. It'd get a much higher rating if it simply let you manage folders in the iPhone's already existing album. (translate)

It fixed the prob with multiple-tasking But I don't understand why it is slow when open pic which is big in size (NOT the file size) Plz read what I wrote below last time --------------------------------------------- It fixed the problem of crashes when opening big size photos. But it still a bit slow to open pic with a bit high dimension(eg 2736x3648), even the file size has been compressed to pretty small. Also I found that it takes much longer time to load a landscape than a portrait pic. I have some suggestions for you to improve on your interface. - touching the name of the picture should NOT be the option for changing the file name. I always tried to open the pictures but finally turned out changing picture name (ur competitors do good job on this, u can check them out) - if password protection can be applied to individual folder then ur app would be perfect; I would give you 5 stars (translate)

I really like the ability to put photos into folders. I would give it 5 stars if I could figure photo naming. I noticed one commenter say that tapping the picture name shouldn't be how you change the name but if not that, then what. Right now all my pictures are called "untitled picture". Not very descriptive. From the screen shots with picture names, I assumed there was a way to name pictures. Help (translate)

Working really well as it is but this app could even be greater for photographers wanting to keep pictures organised in different folders. The problem now is, when a folder is opened, one can only see very small pictures with a lot of lost space occupied by the name of the files. Would be very nice, once a folder is opened, to be able to browse through the pictures with an equivalent of 4-6 or 8 bigger pictures by page. Would allow easier searching of specific pictures in a big folder of similar pictures. Would give 5 stars for such a feature. The app would then be very complete. Maybe a future update. Update 09/05/2010: Didn't notice at first that there is a "see all" option that allows to see picture thumbnails once a folder is open. Then have about 30 pictures/page wich is not that bad. Having an option allowing 16 or 8 pictures/page would be very nice. Just noticed too, that in full page mode, borders of pictures are cropped, sometimes from something significant. This would have to be changed in a future version to be like Apple photo album (no cropping). Still 4 stars. Update 18/06/2010: Really like when app conceptors listen to their users and that is what Romain do. With the new additions this app answer all of my needs and that is why I upgrade temporarily to 5 stars. The only bugs remaining for me is the really BLURRY thumbnails when you are in the 3 pictures/line viewing mode and the non desired zoom mode on some pictures that results in some crop in full size view. Hope these 2 will be improved so this app will be "heaven on earth" for photographers. (translate)

New to Iphone or even Ipod and about the first thing to irritate me was taking a photo and there is nowhere for them to organize. I just know there would be a gigantic mess on the phone soon so I snooped the web and then came here for a peek. First purchased APP also and I am glad! Le falta mucho diseño al Programa, no se puede visualizar en modo fullscreen y tampoco se puede pasar de una imagen a otra. No se pueden cambiar las visualizaciones de las carpetas y las imágenes solo pueden verse de forma vertical. Die Ordner- und Sortierfunktion von vorhandenen Foto-Archiven vermisse ich schmerzlich auf dem IPhone, das konnte jedes meiner Palm- und WinMobile Smartphone. Umso erfreuter war ich, dieses App zu finden, sie scheint das zu bieten, was ich brauche. Aber: Unter zwei Win7 Rechnern bekomme ich überhaupt keine ftp-Verbindung hin, und einen WinXP Rechner konnte ich zur Verbindung überreden. Der Transfer ist aber mehrfach abgebrochen. Ich bin kein Neuling in Netzwerkumgebungen, und andere ftp-Server funktionieren mit dem Iphone tadellos. Ob es an dem Port 8080 liegt? Jedenfalls kann ich die App so leider nicht verwenden. Falls jemand einen Tip dazu hat, wäre ich dankbar (translate)

Was jedoch fuer alle Anwender sehr wuenschenswert ist, waere eine scharfe darstellung sowohl von Den Programmsymben als auch den Vorschaubildern. Dass es keine besseren Album-Apps für das iPhone gibt, ist kein Kaufargument für diesen Schrott. Es gibt nur einen FTP Server, sodass man auf dem MAC zusätzliche Software für die drahtlose Dateiübertragung benötigt. Zudem ist der Server extrem langsam. Die eigentliche Galerie bietet auch nicht gerade eine Fülle an Möglichkeiten, sodass es schlicht und einfach keine Daseinsberechtigung für diesen Müll gibt. (translate)

Die völlig organisationsfreie Zone des iPhone Fotoalbums hat endlich ein Ende. Diese App erzeugt Ordner und importiert aus der camera roll oder dem Photoarchiv des iPhone die Fotos, die man eben lieber in Ordnern haben will (und belässt die Originale gottseidank in der camera roll). Man erzeugt einen Ordner in der App, benennt ihn und und importiert die Fotos in den gewünschten Ordner ein. Beim Betrachten der in foto sort geordneten Bilder fällt auf, dass sie etwas unschärfer zu sein s c h e i n e n als sie wirklich sind. Das ist nicht so, und das kann man sehen, wenn man sie an den Mac mailt, wo sie superscharf sind, sie werden jedoch normalerweise als jpgs mit 50% Kompression importiert. Nun hat der Entwickler gleich eine Option in Version 1.4 bereitgestellt, mit der man wählen kann zwischen maximaler Kompression (kurze Importzeit und etwas geringere Auflösung) und weniger bis 0% Kompression. Bei 0% Kompression importiert man also das Bild in der Originalauflösung. Fazit: prima umgesetzt und prima Support. So soll es sein. Neueste Version: Wie im Apple Original-Viewer kann man Foots in dieser App in Originalauflösung ansehen. Man muss also zum Vergrößern eines Ausschnittes nicht mehr ins iPhone-Archiv. ps: Eine Sicherung gegen unbefugtes Ansehen der Fotos durch Passwortschutz von Ordnern gibt es bisher nicht. Aber irgendwas muss der Entwickler ja noch zu tun haben. Ok: Passwortschutz ist da. Perfekt. (translate)

Es wäre natürlich interessanter wenn man mit dieser App auch eine musikalische Diashow generieren könnte und noch toller wäre es wenn das I Phone auch auf die dort gespeicherten Bilder zugreifen würde. Also, man muss auf „unbenannter Ordner“ mit dem Finger drücken. Dann erscheinen Cursor und Tastatur. Einfach Buchstaben löschen und neuen Namen vergeben. Finde das Programm ziemlich gut. Wohin mit den vielen Bildern auf dem iPhone? Dank PHOTO-SORT ist das kein Problem: Koffer nehmen und beschriften. Bilder hineinlegen und beschriften (oder auch nicht). Schon wird aus einem ungeordneten Bilderhaufen eine übersichtliche Struktur. Die Bilder in den Koffern lassen sich ordnen (z.B. indem man sie nummeriert), lassen sich durchblättern, kopieren (und z.B. in eine MAIL legen). Man kann die gleichen Bilder in verschiedene Ordner legen...... Ich habe eine solche App. seit langem gesucht. DANK an den Entwickler! (translate)

Ich suchte schon lange ein Programm zum Sortieren meiner Fotos. Schön, dass ich überhaupt eins gefunden habe, aber dieses ist arg verbesserungsbedürftig! Ich kann mir die Bilder innerhalb eines Albums nicht nacheinander ansehen! Weder mit Pfeiltasten (wie im Programm vorgestellt... kann ich nicht finden!) noch durch Fingerbewegung auf dem Bildschirm, was sehr sehr schade ist!!! Benötigte ein einfaches App für den Job zum schnellen Archivieren vor Ort. Hatte erst IPicProLite, hat mich nur geärgert, total umständlich und auch nicht schön. Und jetzt dieses App. Schön schlicht, sehr gut und einfach zu bedienen, schnell in der Auswahl. Greift schön auf die Fotoalben zu, um dann die Fotos auszuwählen. Könnte hier noch markieren, welche Fotos man schon transferiert hat, aber nicht wirklich schlimm. Das Umsortieren der Ordner fehlt und ich hätte gerne eine schlichte graue Gestaltung a la Lightroom, deshalb nur 4 Sterne. Was aber kein Grund ist dieses App nicht zu nehmen. Einfach gut. Esta bien pero a veces falla al cargar varias fotos de la galería y solo carga la primera. Lo que hay que corregir es que solo me carga fotos del carrete pero no los vídeos, con lo cual te queda la carpeta incompleta al no tener todo lo que a ella se refiere. No creo cueste mucho revisarlo en próximas actualizaciones. (translate)

En si, la aplicación es muy sencilla, pero en la simplicidad recae lo bueno que tiene. Crea albumes de manera rápida y muy fácil. Graficamente es bonito, sin más. Franchement boff pour le prix, impossible d'envoyer de mms avec cette appli, lors du visionnage des photos l'iphone ne suit pas, donc photos sacadées, bien positionner le doigt sur le rep ou sinon il le renomme a chaque fois Pfff, texte en anglais moins genant mais ils pourraient le préciser, verrouillage ok mais sur l'ensemble des reps et non sur un rep bien defini... Le must pour ranger ses photos sur l'iPhone. L'exportation des dossiers fonctionne à merveille et depuis sa sortie, le développeur perfectionne cette application. Je l'ai depuis plusieurs mois. Excellente réactivité des développeurs pour les MàJ. Reste à donner la possibilité de renommer en série et de choisir la couleur du fond pour les planches, ce serait bien de choisir le nbre de vues par planche, et consulter les planches en feuilletant. Il faut également réactiver la fonction mot de passe désactivée (sauf au démarrage de l'iphone) lors de récentes MàJ. Bravo! (translate)

Ai cette aplication absolument genial depuis qqs mois déjà et en suis super contente. Trop top pour enfin classer facilement et rapidement ses photos par dossier et ss devoir passer par iTunes. Ai eu un petit souci lors d' une recente mise a jour d' Apple mais régler en 2 jours grace a la rapidité d' action du developeur très consciencieux et qui répond aux mails d appel au secour. Enfin une application qui permette de classer les photos. Très pratique et très simple d'utilisation. Seuls bémols : on ne peut pas utiliser les photos en fond d'écran, cela ne gère pas les vidéos, on ne peut pas reclasser les photos comme on veut à l'intérieur d'un dossier De plus je ne peux plus faire de sélection multiple des photos et suis obligée de les copier une à une. Merci de penser à une mise à jour pour pallier à tout çà. Mais malgré tout ces petits inconvénients je recommande cette application. (translate)

Dommage car on perd la fonction de localisation plan. On peut renvoyer les photos dans la pellicule Apple avec la fonction "upload", ce qui permet de pouvoir les réutiliser pour les affecter a un contact ou de les mettre en fond d'écran. L'application est bien faite, facile à manipuler avec une interface simple mais efficace.Cependant, les dossiers ne sont pas gérés dans la bibliothèque c'est dommage car du coup l'application "plan" ne localise plus les photos.On se retrouve donc avec un doublons de photos (bibliotheque et Photo sort) . J'espère une prochaine mise à jour pour corriger ce problème en intégrant l'appli dans la bibliothèque et ajouter la possibilité de mettre des dossiers de couleur.Néanmoins, je la recommande, vous serez pas déçu. Tres bonne Appli, intuitive et remplissant bien son role. Seule petite remarque, la rotation s'effectue a la lecture de l'image, mais pas sur l'image elle meme ( vignettes ), et non parametrable. Premetto di non aver provato apps simili prima di questa, ma: 1) LA GRAFICA E' OTTIMA - Personalmente ho sempre apprezzato un layout semplice e soprattutto COERENTE con lo schema di colori tipico delle apps native. Bella anche l'icona delle singole cartelle...pulita, e con l'anteprima di una foto; 2) HA TUTTE LE FUNZIONI PROPRIE DELL'APP ATIVA - E' veloce, ha il pinch to zoom, lo slide to next, ecc..; 3) IMPORT MULTIPLO; 4) SHARING - Via mail, e perfino via wifi. Ottimo. UNICA PECCA: non dà la possibilità di cancellare, in automatico, le foto importate nelle varie cartelle dal rullino fotografico. Il risultato è che una volta creata la cartella la foto verrà SOLO duplicata, rimanendo così la copia originale nel rullino...dovete essere voi a cancellarle da lì, una volta finito. ASPETTO, SU QUESTO UNICO PUNTO, UN VELOCE AGGIORNAMENTO! (translate)

「ePhoto Chest」と「Roll Swap」と試してみましたが、このソフトが一番使い勝手がいいです。 一番の理由は、サブフォルダが作れること。 「ePhoto Chest」は115円払えば、動画も管理できる機能を評価しているので、写真は、「Photo-Sort」、動画は「ePhoto Chest」を使っています。 余談ですが、「Roll Swap」はカメラロールの全ての写真を「Roll Swap」の4つあるフォルダの内1つと丸ごとスワップすることしかできないので、意外と使い勝手が悪いです。 (translate)

Как видно из названия, программа предназначена для сортировки фотографий, что она с успехом и делает:) Минусы: долго загружает фотографии, в альбоме нет возможности перелистывать фото. И еще хотелось бы, чтобы загруженные фото отмечались галочкой или каким-нибудь значком, а то путаешься, что уже загружалось, а что нет. А в целом 4:) (translate)

For $1.99 this app is not worth it for the following reasons: - Not stable for my 3Gs on OS4.1.2. - Transition is laggy & jerky - Some the pics turned upside down for no reason when viewing. - It creates a new file name when transferring to a new folder. - Deleting a file in this app does not remove from iPhone (shd have an option instead). I really like the crisp and simple look once I managed to Organise all my photos. Initially I had problems transferring the photos via FTP under windows explorer, only managed it under IE or Firefox which only allowed donloads or transfer one at a time. But once I managed to allow my firewall to run it in windows explorer the ease of photo transfer via wifi was fantastic. Better than what I was doing before this app which is manually copying them via cable into photo folder I used in iTunes for sync. Hope to see more enhancements like graphic shelving perhaps? Detta program gjorde allt som jag saknade. Lägger alla bilder i en mapp struktur som jag vill ha. Kör över all bilder från min pc enkelt via ftp program. Saknar bara en funktion och det är att jag vill ha olika vyer i vissa kataloger tex rootmappen i list vy och bilder i thumbnail vy. Ändrar man vy på ett ställe så slår det i alla folders. (translate)

I downloaded this because it said you could import from camera roll which it does but also it says you can import from photo albums but it crashes every time I try. I have photos in albums and can never use them in apps unless they are in camera roll so I thought I could import from albums into this program and then upload to camera roll so I could use them. It implies that you can do that but this program just frustrates. Load of rubbish (translate)

2 things I would like to see done to improve this app. 1. ability to re-export photos easily to your camera roll. Pretty sure I couldn't do this. The only was was to use the mail function and then re save to my camera roll. Surely an easy fix. 2. a pin for separate folders would be quite handy too. Don't take much notice of the previous reviews. This is a great simple practical photo organiser. So don't keep tearing your hair out and wasting time and money. If you want to organise your photos easily and quickly this is the app for you. I spent much time and money before I found this app and didn't download it at first because of the negative reviews. But this truly is the best one I have found. If you want frills this isn't for you, but if you want something efficient, simple, quick and easy, that does what what it says on the tin, then look no further, you have found it! I'm used to Windows, and I'm not a techno-geek... maybe that is why I found this so disappointing? "Instructions" were completely unintelligible; it was not at all intuitive; when i worked it out, it was far more cumbersome than Windows folder system; and even the graphics were really fuzzy and low quality which is a real shame on the IPad. Thought this would be great.... and I'm left luke warm.. password protection is for the whole application, you can't apply it just to selected folders... bit of improvement potential here. it has to import the photos to within the application domain, this means I now have photos in camera roll and Apple photo folders repeated in the Photo Sort folders - using more memory Last point, in slide show it doesn't have any transitions, just snaops from one photo to the other, would be much nicer with an Apple style fade or ripple ! again something to include in the upgrade, please ! This has potential but isn't there yet. It is limited, probably by Apples requirements on apps. Yes you can create folders and yes you can copy you pictures from the 'camera roll' but be warned this is a stand alone app so the folders you have created will not appear in your 'Photos' folder. The originals will also remain on your camera roll and will need deleting manually. Consequently if you want to do some photo editing later unless you have kept the original pic then your photo editing software will not be able to find it as it will be locked in another program. That said it is a good program for doing some sorting in readyness for downloading to your computer. (translate)

I use filenames to sort my photos, as does most every person I've ever met...the photos program that comes with the iPad doesn't sort them by filename, but instead by a date of some kind. This program, which seemed to say it would, does not do this. Instead, it has you click on each picture individually, makes a duplicate, and has you rename that. Hopefully an update comes out to fix this, otherwise this is no more than a wasted space. (translate)

Very glitchy laggy when flicking through pics. It will jump to another photo zooming is crappy not smooth scrolling through the pics isn't smooth at all The update did crapola! U flick through pics it's still laggy glitchy and almost unusable. I like that I can create subgroups and load multiple photos in facebook. but U can only email the photos and u can't copy n paste outside of the app. This means that if you need to send pic mms, or set a wallpaper, you have to transfer the photos back to or keep it in the camera roll. this app does no better than transferring the photos to the computer, grouping, & then transferring back to the phone. Read the info given - This app delivers everything it claims, but don't expect it to do the work for you. Too many reviews are written from angered ignorance. Of COURSE you have to copy pics to the app before organizing them. It's an app, not a firmware rewrite. It may be confusing at first to use, but it works. Those who had trouble with the subfolders probably didn't try very long before giving up. All you have to do is add an image to the folder first - It won't allow you to create subfolders in an empty folder. But, once the main folder has a pic, you can create multiple levels of subfolders. Then just use the cut and paste tool (which let you select multiple pics at once) to move between them. It really does work, very, very well The bad reviews are from people who aren't very techno-savvy and couldn't figure it out. (translate)

This app has all the features that the default iTouch Photo app should have. It easily password protects your folders, creates and names folders, renames photos, cuts and pastes photos between folders and transfers photos to and from the default iTouch Photo app. The FTP connection easily transfers photos to iTouch. My only problem was that my computer's firewall would not allow the FTP connection. After I disabled the firewall, the connection was flawless. (translate)

Most of the bad reviews are people that think this app changes the phones operating system. It doesn't, you have to copy the pics to the app to save them. I got a little frustrated for like 10 - 15 minutes while I figured out how this worked. Once you do figure it out this a nothing short of AWESOME. I suggest you first save all the pics on your phone to your computer (just upload them to a file by accessing the phone through the computer like it was a jump drive outside of iTunes and save to a new folder) this will remove your fear of losing your pics and let you just fool with it till you figure it out It's worth the effort now I have 20 pics in my Camera Roll and the rest well organised in Photo-sort and the program costs about as much as a soda (translate)

I have about 6 organizing apps and this one is probably the best one. The subfolders are great and the importing and exporting are very fast and smooth. If there are any problems, they have a great help page online. On top of that, you can move the folders to your computer over wifi. The only thing it lacks is search capabilities. Beware, this app can only organize your iPhone photos within the Photo-Sort App itself, and does not carry these created folders into your iOS Photo App (and not very well or easily I might add). You still will only have the Camera Roll when you open your Photo App. This app is useless, not to mention frustrating and not easy to use, and no response from developer on these issues after inquiry. There are also NO instructions or help on how to use this app. By the way look at the 5 star June 26th review the first two initials for the user are "rh"...the developers name is Romain Henry. You need to understand that this WILL NOT allow you to sort and/or delete any files from your phones photo app, camera roll, etc. It makes additional copies, compressed, rather than sorting additional files. If I'd understood this (if the description had made this clear), I wouldn't have bought it. It seems to do it's tasks reasonably well, but doesn't do what the description implies. To use this, you duplicate each image, using additional memory for each one. If it did what the description implied, I'd give it 5 stars. This works fine for pictures you take with your iphone. I wanted something that I could use to organize some of my other photo's that were not taken from my phone. I was able to put the photo's on the phone an sort them but when I tried to view the photo's I would get an error message saying not enough memory, then the app would shut off. Not very impressed. Clumsy. Crashes frequently. Inappropriately re-sizes photos. Must individually tranfer photos to particular folder- this takes FOREVER! Can't passcode lock individual folders. If we're lucky, maybe Apple will have a better solution with iPhone OS 4.0 next month (fingers crossed). After a few minutes of use, I'm very happy with this app. I love the FTP access, and the ability to export full resolution images back to the Camera Roll. This was not an option with the highly-rated "Photo Folder" app that I downloaded earlier. The only way to get photos back out of folders in that app was to e-mail them to yourself at reduced resolutions. I have much more confidence putting my photos in this app and deleting them from the Camera Roll knowing I can access them by export or FTP. I also like the list view, showing the file name, or name that you assign, and the date modified. Great simple program. If your looking for sometinhg to orginize your photos into folder within folders, easily transfer photos to and from computer, this is the prrogram. Comes with free updates. I bought this based on the reviews and all the negative reviews of other apps. Created a folder and the first problem is I could not name it. Duh...that's the point of having wanted this app. Next I see that life in this app revolves around access to developer's server which is way creepy. I just want to have a way to take all my photos on my iPhone and put them into easily accessed folders. No MAC, no server...just to sit quietly and move photos around. Which is why I think some of these 5 star posts are paid ones..... NOT TRUE. When we are cheated like this, why exactly does iTUNES get to keep out money...even if it's only a dollar. DO NOT BUY. I like this app. Intuitive interface. Being able to organize pics on-board the iphone is very useful. Just a few suggestions please: The preview picture for each album should be larger and have more prominance than the folder. When viewing pictures, the gray bars where the return button, the album name, picture name, scroll arrows, etc... above and below a picture are intrusive. They all can be consolidated into one, taking up less space. In fact, no need to see the time and battery life while viewing pictures. (translate)

I am now truly happy with this app moved it to front page. (now for future updates, I suggest: password protection for individual folders, a simpler & more stylish app icon... ) *So close! But not yet... (review 2) Thank you for responding to everyone's comments so quickly. Version 1.1 is definitely an improvement and a step in the right direction, but alas still not quite there. The problem with this version is that when I import photos they get slighty distorted and the resolution gets lowered. Lowered enough to make the pinching (zooming in) pretty useless. I'm happy to be able to enlarge the images, but not too see pixalated images?! Please update so the images maintain original resolution. Then the app will truly be useful for me. Thank you and waiting for 1.2!! *Original Review (review 1) Nice simple app that works as advertised. Good.... but no zoom?! No way!! How could a photo app not have zoom (pinching)?? This App is great for putting pics from the camera roll into folders, but can't put them back into the camera roll. Thus once in the Photo-Sort Folders you can't use any of thses pics for the wallpaper. (translate)

The app functions easy enough but it is an app, not a add on to your photo album. So all your photos end up in two locations. Rather then organized in your photo album. I just ended up using I photo and sync through I tunes to organize my pix (translate)
